Wreath Maker Increases Productivity

Wreath Maker Increases Productivity

After several seasons using our Electrocoup electric pruning shear on their Christmas Tree farm and in their wreath workshop, we finally convinced Wapsie Pines Christmas Wreath Workshop to send us a video!

What if you could cut your pruning time down to 1/3 of what it is now?

In the video below you can see that this customer is using an old model of our shear – from 2009 in fact. Even with this 10 year old shear, the worker cleans the White Pine in 36 seconds compared with 1 min. 40 seconds when using the manual lopper.

Side-by-Side White Pine Comparison

Wapsie Pines took videos of the exact same variety being pruned with manual loppers vs. with our Electrocoup shear. Infaco USA made no changes to the videos except to put them side by side.

Christmas Tree Pruning

Chuck Parker of Cornerstone Pines shows us how to use the F3015 Electrocoup to quickly prune Christmas trees to improve productivity and eliminate repetitive motion injuries. Infaco clients notice a minimum 25% increase in productivity and an immediate drop-off in carpal tunnel related symptoms. Demonstrated: basal pruning on Meyer Spruce, White Pine pruning, and pruning off competitive leaders on Frasiers.

Hazelnut Grower Doubles Efficiency

Pruning with manual shears and loppers really took a toll on Phyllis Morris’s hands, wrists, and arms. In 2007 (after double-carpal tunnel surgery) she made the switch to Infaco’s incredibly light and powerful Electrocoup shear. Since then Phyllis has seen her own efficiency double and has seen so many other benefits too. We’re so proud to be able to help people like Phyllis keep doing what they love to do!

To see Phyllis in action, check out how she does her suckering and summer pruning in this follow-up video.

Fast and comfortable vineyard suckering

Listen to the owner of DeRose Vineyard explain how they use Infaco’s Electrocoup F3010 and the EPAv2 desuckering tools to increase productivity and worker comfort and safety.

Richard Sauret explains how the Electrocoup F3010 with DSES safety system saves him time and helps make more cuts possible while pruning his 13,000 vines alone.

Still Pruning at 90

Today we came across an article about Erwin: a customer of ours who is still pruning his apple orchard even at 90 years old! While we were touched, we were not surprised. The Electrocoup pruning shears really are that comfortable and that easy to use. What’s more, is that this customer isn’t even using our latest generation of shear!  Our latest shear – the F3010 – features interchangeable heads for different jobs, is even lighter, perfectly balanced, and was designed by ergonomic experts.

The original article has some great pics of Erwin and is an interesting insight into the lives of farmers who increasingly, don’t have any family to pass their farms down to.
